Description: Made by Walker & Hall, with English hallmarks (see below), this is a vanity brush with a tortoiseshell and sterling silver edged handle. The handle features a sterling silver beading detail around the tortoiseshell body. The lion passant indicates that it is sterling silver. The anchor stamp confirms this piece was assayed in Birmingham.
Condition: very good for its age, consistent with wear, intact functional bristles, there is some wear and scuffs to the silver edges. Please consider the photos as part of the condition. The "C" confirms the date/letter and that it was made in 1902.
