Completely refurbished and newly upholstered in a beautiful, high-quality light coral "faille" with a subtle dot pattern, this piece is a circa early to mid-1900s Napoleon III-inspired slipper chair or "boudoir chair" with a curved, kidney-shaped backrest that features button tufting and painted gilt wood legs with a lovely patina. The seat is a very thick, down loose cushion that is extremely comfortable. The front legs are an elegant cabriole style, while the rear legs are a twisted rope or spiral turned style. This chair would be perfect in a dressing room, sitting room, bedroom, or ladies' office.
